Amanti Vino, a wine, beer and specialty spirits shop located in downtown Montclair, New Jersey has now expanded to Morristown at 60A South Street. The store specializes in small production wines, craft beer and artisanal spirits from around the world at all price points. Additionally, each location features a classroom for private events and wine education classes and an outdoor, three-season Vinoteca. Proprietor Sharon Sevrens is a former Wall Street exec-turned-sommelier.
"This town is perfect for the Amanti Vino spirit and we've been made to feel welcome already. I'm excited to become a contributing member of the community," she said.
The 3,000-square-foot storefront featuring 800 bottles of boutique wines, craft beer and artisanal spirits, all personally selected and tasted by Sevrens and her team. There is a tasting bar where guests may sample the staff's weekly picks and take advantage of additional bottle and case purchase discounts on sample wines.
Amanti Vino is the only Approved Provider in New Jersey for the UK-based Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET) classes and its website, www.amantivino.com, was named one of the 10 best online wine shops by Food & Wine Magazine.
In this MRM Expertise story, Sevrens discusses Riesling's popularity, versatility and varieties as well as the benefits of visiting wine specialty stores.
