My COVID Valentine

Valentine’s Day, normally a busy time for restaurants, will no doubt look a bit different this year. A number of restaurants have brought their creative “love” juices to the table with unique promotions and they could benefit, because, according to SlickText’s “2021 Share the Love Survey,” 34 percent of respondents said their biggest Valentine’s Day spend will be at restaurants.​​​

DoorDash and Shake Shack, in collaboration with Boyz II Men, are offering delivering some love with limited-edition items and surprises, all leading up to an intimate performance from the band.On February 14, the group will serenade their virtual audience in a conversation setting streamed through Twitch as well as DoorDash’s Facebook Live channel beginning at 8 p.m. EST.

As part of “Love Delivered,” Shake Shack has created a limited-edition “Berryz II Men” Chocolate-Covered-Strawberry Shake available nationwide through Valentine’s Day. The Shake is made from real strawberry hand spun with vanilla frozen custard, topped with whipped cream, fudge sauce, and chocolate cookie crumbles. In select cities, the brand is offering a special kit for lovers. 


A&W is calling a truce to the Chicken Sandwich War this Valentine’s Day and encouraging humanity to make Chicken Tender Lovin’ with a sensual suite of offbeat gifts instead.
