MRM @ the bar: The Far West Side at Ousia

In this edition of MRM @ the bar, Ousia General Manager Johnny Livanos makes the Far West Side, a cocktail inspired by the restaurant’s location in Manhattan. The Greek-inspired Mediterranean restaurant is part of the family-run Livanos Restaurant Group,which has been in the restaurant business for more than 50 years and has six operating restaurants.

Far West Side
1.5 ounces Vodka
.75 ounces Skinos Mastiha
1 ounce Lemon Juice
.5 ounces Simple Syrup
4 slices Cucumber
4 Mint Leaves
Muddle mint and cucumber in a cocktail shaker with lemon juice and simple syrup.
Add ice, vodka and mastiha and shake vigorously.
Double strain into a chilled coup glass and garnish with a cucumber snake.
