In an appearance on "Face the Nation," Dr. Anthony Fauci, Director of The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, who is on the government's COVID-19 task force, said a restaurant ban might be a possibility and has been discussed by the task force.
"You don't want to make a pronouncement that no one should ever go into a restaurant," he said. " … That might be overkill right now. But everything is on the table. It may come to the situation where we strongly recommend."
