Vegandale

More than just a food festival, Vegandale is a travelling community dedicated to promoting veganism as a moral imperative. For two days, 130+ highly curated vegan food, drink and merchandise vendors will transform Randall's Island into an experience that supports the manifesto of the show; 'Veganism for Everybody'. For its second year running, North America's fastest growing vegan festival will welcome 25,000+ hungry guests from Saturday, Sept. 29 through to Sunday, Sept. 30 (11 a.m. – 7 p.m.)

Doubtful New Yorkers can get excited about sinking their teeth into the VegNews Best Burger winning Bac'n Cheeze Burger from Austin's Arlo's, seitan Doner Kebab all the way from Switzerland's Outlawz Food, and fish n' chips without the fish from No Bones Beach Club, the world's first vegan beach club now in Seattle, Portland, and Chicago. Vendors from California, Toronto, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Dallas, and Montreal will save attendees some serious travel time, and join the best of NYC in upholding the reputation of the foodie capital of the world!

The temporary all-vegan neighbourhood offers up more than just a memorable meal. For two full days, values of equality and non-violence are celebrated through music, art and community. Guests of Vegandale will enjoy a slew of interactive art installations, with messaging rooted in the principles of veganism.

"Following last year's inaugural and sold out show, we're happy to announce that this year's Vegandale has nearly doubled in size" said Hellenic Vincent De Paul, owner of Vegandale. "Now a two-day destination, Vegandale is proving to the Big Apple that veganism has outgrown its stereotypes!"

Early bird tickets are available for $10 until September 25 at www.vegandalefest.com
