Join Edible Sarasota Magazine and seven of Sarasota’s favorite chefs at Louies Modern, 1289 North Palm Avenue, Sarasota, FL 34236 on August 7 from 6 to 9 p.m. for Trash Fish Sarasota. The event is a delicious opportunity to taste invasive and underutilized seafood species, learn about the future of sustainable seafood, and connect with leading change makers in the Sarasota culinary community.
Featured chefs include: Chef Evan Blake Gastman, The Cottage / Chef Jose Rojas, Louies Modern /Chef Mark Marjorie, Veronica Fish and Oyster /Chef Paul Mattison, Mattison’s /Chef Stephen Phelps, Indigenous /Chef Erik Walker, The Sandbar / and Chef Mark Woodruff, MADE Restaurant.

Proceeds benefit Chefs Collaborative, a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit that relies on Member and friend support to inspire, educate, and amplify the voices of chefs and culinary professionals who care about sourcing, cooking, and serving better food to help change the way America eats and create a better food system.
