Thai Rice: A Journey Beyond Borders
12:00 am
The Thai Trade Center New York will host "Thai Rice: A Journey Beyond Borders," an exclusive culinary event at Platform by James Beard, showcasing the extraordinary versatility of Thailand's most cherished grain on July 10. This unique experience will feature a stellar lineup of culinary talent: Chef Noah Sandoval of Chicago’s two-Michelin-starred Oriole, Chef Max Wittawat and award-winning Mixologist Chacha Singsuwan of Bangkok Supper Club, and Chef Nate Limwong of Chalong.
"Thai Rice: A Journey Beyond Borders" invites guests to discover how humble rice varieties—from fragrant Jasmine and antioxidant-rich Riceberry to glutinous Sticky Rice and wholesome Brown Rice—are transformed into elevated gastronomic sensations. These visionary chefs will employ innovative techniques and global inspirations, pushing the boundaries of Thai cuisine. Adding another layer of sensory delight, Suwincha "Cha-Cha" Singsuwan, the acclaimed Head Bartender from Bangkok Supper Club, will curate unique cocktail pairings designed to complement this exploration of Thai rice as a fine dining sensation.
The evening will feature an exquisite multi-course menu, with each dish thoughtfully paired with unique cocktails:
