Plating It Forward

Mikasa Hospitality launched  the Plating It Forward Giveaway, a unique initiative designed to uplift emerging culinary talent. From September 1 through November 30, professional chefs can nominate a mentee who is opening or has opened their first restaurant. The selected mentee will receive $25,000* in free dinnerware, glassware, and flatware—enough to fully outfit their new or up-and-coming establishment.

Rooted in a spirit of mentorship and giving back, Plating It Forward reflects Mikasa Hospitality’s ongoing commitment to supporting the future of foodservice. By equipping rising chefs with the tools they need to succeed, we’re helping to set the table for the next generation of culinary excellence.

Chefs can submit their nominations at this link. The winner will be chosen December 2025, and they may select their prize throughout 2026.
