Menu Labeling 101: An Overview from the FDA

The countdown is on. On May 5, 2017, the nation’s first federal menu-labeling rules take effect. The regulations will require many restaurant chains and similar retail food establishments to post calorie counts on menus and menu boards and provide customers with additional written nutrition information on request. On July 28 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. EST, join the National Restaurant Association and FDA officials for a review of the regulations and resources to help restaurateurs understand the complex requirements.
