Lunch & Give Back a Bunch
12:00 am
Timed to coincide with the holidays, today Wisely kicks-off a lunch & learn series with a unique perk for participants—helping fight hunger during the pandemic.
The webinar series, titled “Lunch & Give Back a Bunch” offers four (4) sessions for restaurant operators over the next two weeks. Topics include how CFOs can best leverage Customer Lifetime Value (December 10), practical tech roadmap how-tos for restaurants (December 15), a retrospective on the uplifting news from the industry in 2020 (December 16), and a conversation about the future of loyalty (December 17).
Events will be moderated by Wisely’s CEO and Cofounder, Mike Vichich, and will feature the following restaurant executives: Paul Potvin, CFO of California Fish Grill; Matt Wilber, CFO of bartaco; Matt Eisenacher, SVP of Brand Strategy and Innovation of First Watch Restaurants; Kimbal Musk, Co-Founder & Executive Chairman of The Kitchen, Big Green, Square Roots; Gretchen Thomas, VP of Creative for Barcelona Restaurants; and Nicole Bushnell, CMO of Punch Bowl Social. Also joining the line-up of panelists is Author & Professor Peter Fader as well as CTO of BigSpring (formerly of Uber) Arun Nagarajan.
Those restaurant operators who register to attend a virtual lunch & learn will receive a $25 eGift from Wisely and are encouraged to use the funds to support other local restaurants. In addition to the benefit for approved, live attendees Wisely will make a donation to a named charity, Food Gatherers, for each registered participant.
Food Gatherers is a non-profit organization in the community where Wisely’s headquarters are located. This is the second year Wisely has partnered with Food Gatherers to drive donations around the holidays.
“Our goal in launching this platform is to continue to keep the industry connected through the end of the year and share knowledge and insights everyone can benefit from as we plan for the industry’s continued recovery in 2021,” Mike Vichich said. “The themes of each event represent the discussions we’re having daily with operators, tech integration partners, and investors in our sector. And in the spirit of the season, we also wanted to give back to both the industry and our community.”
