‘hungr’s Heroes’ Program Returns for the Holidays

hungr, the nationwide online ordering and food delivery platform, today announced the return of its “hungr Heroes” meal purchase program, which allows users to buy meals for local health care workers and first responders.

“We know that many in the community want to thank health care workers and first responders for the long hours they have been working to help keep us safe during the ongoing pandemic,” said Aaron Mortensen, chief marketing officer of hungr. “This month-long program not only helps our heroes, it also gives local restaurants additional business.”

Each “hungr Heroes” meal costs only $10, and users may purchase as many as they’d like through the hungr app or at hungr.com. All purchased meals will be individually wrapped by the restaurant for safety, and then added into an existing order destined for a healthcare location. Once delivered, hungr Heroes meals will be distributed through various departments. hungr will also waive all delivery fees for meals donated through this program until December 31.

Companies and customers who wish to take part in the “hungr Heroes” meal donation program are welcome to do so.
