Hops & Vines
6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Costa Mesa, California
The Center Club of Orange County’s 10th Annual Charity Classic will be held on September 29, from 6-9 p.m. Determined to inspire hope, the Center Club Cares presents Hops & Vines, a beer and wine festival to celebrate the latest research and development supporting ALS and five local charities promoting health, and employment in Orange County.
According to Richard Ward, the Charity Classic Chairman, winning sous chef culinary creations will be displayed as selected by Lewis Butler, the Center Club’s executive chef, along with award-winning wines, favorite craft beers and live music by American Idol contestant Adam Lasher. A highlight will be honoring Victoria Collins, PhD, a wealth advisor legend and philanthropic leader. In 2011, Dr. Collins was given the mantel established by Henry T. Segerstrom, and served as the Center Club Chairman of the Board for three years.
Benefactors from the Hops & Vines event include: Augie’s Quest to Cure ALS and the ALS Therapy Development Institute, Anaheim Family YMCA, Center Club OC Cares, Employee Partner Care Foundation, Women Helping Women and the YMCA of Orange County.
Inside the private business, and well-adorned Center Club, guests will sample featured wineries Stags Leap, Penfords, Beringer, Rodney Strong Vineyards, and Davis Bynum. Local favorite Four Sons Brewery headlines the featured breweries including The Brewery, Ballast Point and Cismontane Brewing. Additional sponsorship applications are still being accepted.
The Center Club’s signature event is open to the public. Purchase tickets online in advance here, with packages starting at $75 per person ($95 at the door) or by calling (714) 662-3414. Center Club Orange County is located at 650 Town Center Drive, Costa Mesa, CA.
