Harlem Food Safety Intensive

The New York City Hospitality Alliance is hosting the Harlem Food Safety Intensive on Monday, Oct. 3 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. The even will take place at Melba’s Restaurant, 300 West 114th St., New York City.  Learn about the recent changes to the NYC Health Code, brush up on the best practices of food safety compliance and ensure you are ready for your next Health Department inspection. The cost is $35 for Alliance members.

The’A’ Letter Grade Training Intensive* lead by our Food Safety Pro, Austin Publicover that will review:

  • Best practices to make every day an ‘A’ day
  • Recent Health Code amendments and how they impact your restaurant
  • The 3 C’s of excellence (cleaning, cooking, cooling)
  • Food safety and quality assurance
  • Microbiological reasons for the Health Code
  • How to prevent foodborne illnesses
  • Inspection cycle and the Tribunal

There will be a special presentation from Michael Broder and Joel Grassi of BHB Pest Elimination.
