Fresh Summit

Produce Marketing Association (PMA), an international association representing every segment of the global produce and floral supply chain, willl host its  annual Fresh Summit conference virtually, taking place from October 13 – 15.

Guests will register in advance of the conference by visiting this link. While registration rates range $99-$199, they’ve made it FREE for retailers and operators.

The event offers a variety of programming, including networking and ways to better connect with farmers, growers, shippers, and distributors, trend forecasting for both the produce and floral industries, and business-building ideas and solutions for the industry’s new normal amidst the pandemic. 

A few additional highlights of this year’s programming include:

  • State of the Industry talk with Cathy Burns: PMA CEO Cathy Burns will share tends prior to and during the pandemic, reflect on the community’s response, and identify areas where fresh produce and floral have opportunities to grow.
  • Inspirational Ways to Grow a Healthier World with Doc Hendley and Keller Rinaudo: Hendley and Rinaudo will discuss how challenges such as climate change, COVID-19, logistics issues, and infrastructure require different thinking. 
  • The 10X Mindset to Navigate Exponential Change with Sally Dominguez: Sally Dominguez (Inventor, Entrepreneur, Futurist, Faculty, Singularity University) will outline exponential thinking and present her Parkour tool to activate your 10X mindset and prompt the unexpected connections that lead to consistent innovation.
  • Center for Growing Talent presents: Women’s Fresh Perspectives–Taking a Seat at the Table: In this session, leaders from Center for Growing Talent – PMA’s organization that aims to attract, develop and retain talent for the global produce and floral industry – will go beyond the gender lens and address work-life balance, mental well-being, networking, and the importance of diversity in today’s new world.
