Food Allergy Symposium for Industry (FASI)

AllerTrain by MenuTrinfo is launching the Food Allergy Symposium for Industry (FASI). FASI is honored that leading experts from amazing brands like Sodexo, PF Changs, Red Robin, GF Jules and others. FASI 2016 will take place November 3-4 in Denver, Colorado and will bring together leading food service stakeholders with today’s leading food allergy and gluten-free experts. Betsy Craig, founder and CEO of AllerTrain by MenuTrinfo stated, “For something that is life and death in our industry, there is no one teaching the safety and tools needed to protect lives.”
FASI 2016 brings expert speakers, panelists, and industry workers together to discuss training and tools to improve concerns and issues surrounding food allergies. FASI will be an exclusive event where those involved get deep knowledge and strong connections with others in their field.
FASI 2016 will feature a full agenda of breakout sessions and special events hosted by best-in-class leaders and brands in the industry. FASI 2016 will be a must-attend event for food service professionals wanting to learn about the latest food-allergy tools to achieve food safety, legal aspects of food allergies, as well as access to new product offerings for special dietary needs in industrial kitchens. The symposium will fill a current gap in the industry by providing a place for professionals to discuss changes and remedies related to food-allergy issues that are rapidly impacting the food service industry and lives of millions of consumers.

Advanced registration is needed as the event will be limited to 100 registrants. The conference will be held from Thursday, Nov. 3 at 1 p.m. and will conclude the following day, Friday, Nov. 4 at 12 p.m. Registration is $249 and will include access to all Symposium events. The symposium will be for industry professionals only. Paul Antico, Founder and CEO of AllergyEats stated that “It is vitally important for industry professionals to be in the same room talking about these critical food allergy issues” All attendees must be currently employed in the food service and hospitality industry, with current responsibility to create, implement, and oversee programs for food allergy education and training.
