Farm to Table 100

Table 100 in Flowood will celebrate farming in Mississippi and the bounty of the season at their Fifth Annual Farm to Table 100 Dinner on Wednesday, Aug. 31. The interactive meal will allow guests to sample some of Mississippi’s best locally sourced food while providing the opportunity to meet and talk with the farmers.

Table 100 Executive Chef Mike Römhild will be joined by chefs from all the Eat Here Brands restaurants. Guest chefs will include Cristian Rodriguez of Babalu Jackson, Eric Bartholomew of Babalu Birmingham, Daniel Flores of Babalu Memphis, Warren Weiss of Babalu Knoxville, and David Krogin of Interim Restaurant & Bar in Memphis. Table 100 Sous Chefs Jamie Patrick, Stephen Kruger, and Melissa Ellis will also participate. Eat Here Brands is the parent company of Table 100.

During the event, guests will enjoy live entertainment and cocktails while visiting eight interactive food stations. Farmers and purveyors from all across Mississippi will be represented, including Bobkat Farms in Florence, Remington-Lott Farms in Canton, Salad Days in Flora, Reyer Farms in Lena, Delta Blues Rice in Ruleville, Mississippi Bees Honey in Flora, Simmons Catfish in Yazoo City, Grit Girl Grits in Oxford, Kin Growers in Rolling Fork, Two Dog Farms, also in Flora, Cockrell Farmer’s Market in Brandon, Gil’s Bread in Ridgeland, Mississippi Cold Drip in Jackson, as well as Atlanta-based Inland Seafood. Mississippi Commissioner of Agriculture Cindy Hyde Smith, who has been a guest of honor in years past, will also be in attendance.

Proceeds from Farm to Table 100 will benefit Farm Families of Mississippi, a group of organizations, companies, and individuals that promote Mississippi agriculture. Farm to Table 100 will be held from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $95 and can be purchased by calling (601) 933-2720.
