Healthy Eating Under Quarantine (Infographic)

Up until a few weeks ago, Americans were eating on average six meals a week in restaurants. Shelter-in-place and social distancing orders have largely ended that, and the only restaurant activity in many states is carryout or delivery. Companies like GrubHub, Uber Eats, and Postmates are adapting their business practices to ensure that contact is limited, and some are even waiving delivery fees during this time of crisis. Large retail chains are offering grocery pickup with modifications in order to ensure limited contact between delivery and recipient, in addition to offering early morning senior-only hours to reduce risk.
In homes, people are building what has been dubbed "pandemic pantries" that consist of large amounts of toilet paper, medical masks, snacks, beans, and water. The good news is that everyone is still going to be able to remain well-fed through this pandemic, and there are plenty of websites that can help people find resources including recipes based on ingredients on hand.
